There are several ways with which you can pay the sellers at The SOC Exchange.
Be sure that you are comfortable with the payment options the seller has requested before you buy.

Check the sellers’ website for the payment option that they prefer?
Make contact with the seller via the email icon at the top of the seller’s website, or by telephone if they have listed a number on their website.

PayPal

Contact the seller via email (the icon on the seller’s website) or telephone to obtain their PayPal details, so you can pay directly into their account.

PayPal enables you to make payments securely online using a credit card or bank account. If you do not have a PayPal account you can open an account instantly using your credit or debit card. It is free to open an account at PayPal.

Benefits Of Using PayPal:

  • Your payment is traceable. Having a PayPal account will enable you to track the status of your account.
  • Payment is quick and convenient.
  • Having a PayPal account lets you transfer funds directly from your bank account.
  • All bank and credit card details are hidden. Your details are safely encrypted through PayPal’s server, which restricts the risk of unauthorized use.
  • PayPal customer support is always available.

Paying with a Credit Card Not Using PayPal

Some sellers may accept a credit card payment directly. You will need to provide your credit card details directly to the seller. In order to protect yourself you should check with your credit card provider for protection terms and conditions.

Benefits Of Using A Credit Card:

  • Your payment is traceable.
  • Payment is quick and convenient.
  • There may be some limited liability or purchase protection using your credit card. Please check with your credit card provider for specific details.

Payment Using Money Orders, Personal Checks, Cashiers Checks

You will need to discuss these payment options with the seller.

Benefits Are:

  • Your payment will need to be forwarded to a mailing address and therefore will provide you with a proof of payment, plus the mailing address of the seller.
  • You may have the ability to ‘stop payment’ if problems arise before the payment is cashed.

The Non-Benefits Are:

  • In case of fraud payment will be difficult to recover.
  • The seller will be forced to wait for funds to clear.
  • A small fee may be charged by the provider for the transaction.

Bank Transfer

  • You will need to obtain the seller’s bank details, which will give you traceability.
  • You can make a deposit online or at a bank branch.
